Hello everyone,
A few columns and podcasts for you this week.
At First Things, I have a column on an interesting event that took place a few weeks ago—a “Hitchmas” celebration to commemorate the life of atheist journalist Christopher Hitchens featuring Douglas Murray, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Fry, and Lawrence Krauss. Inadvertantly, “Hitchmas” was a stark reminder of the collapse of the New Atheist movement and prominent atheist defections to Christianity: “An unmerry Hitchmas.”
At The European Conservative, I write about the ongoing civil war on the secular Left, with prominent atheists doing battle with the transgender movement—a monster they themselves helped to create: “Atheists Against Transgenderism: a Menshevik Revolution?”
At the Western Standard, I take a look at Tory leader Pierre Poilievre’s clever tactics when dealing with trans activists: “Pierre Poilievre's smart talk on trans winning in war on woke.”
Also at the Western Standard, a column on the abysmal failure of Trudeau’s Canadian leadership: “Trudeau the last person who should speak for us... he can't even define Canada.”
I had a podcast conversation with John Deighan of the UK’s Society for the Protection of Unborn Children on assisted suicide and how to combat the Culture of Death that some of you may be interested in.
On this week’s episode of The Bridgehead Briefing, I take a look at the enormous significance of the ongoing divorce of Big Tech overlords like Mark Zuckerberg and the transgender movement—and why Andrew Tate is a vile pimp and pornographer with a history of sexual violnce that should make him anathema to any decent social conservative (or, for that matter, person):
