Hello everyone—and welcome to the many new subscribers!
I appreciate the feedback I’ve received on my conversation with Matt Fradd on the state of the culture—here, for anyone who is interested, are some clipped segments of that (very) long chat.
Over at First Things, I have a column on the end of Roe v. Wade and the pro-life convictions of Louisiana novelist Walker Percy.
At The Bridgehead, I have a few culture updates including a column on the trans mob attacking Posie Parker in New Zealand; how a handful of NHL players forced the league to rethink their LGBT virtue-signalling; the ongoing grooming of kids via vile TV shows, and plenty of others.
The pro-life movement in Malta is still staving off plans to do away with protections for pre-born children with huge rallies, lobbying, and an impressive mobilization campaign. I spoke with my friend Dr. Miriam Scibberras recently to get the details.
At The European Conservative, I have an essay on the Ludwigs of Trickle Creek Farm, a self-sustaining community in the Canadian wilderness of Peace River Country (I visited a couple of years ago). This controversial Christian community has been at the centre of one of the strangest Canadian stories in decades, including eco-terrorism, strategic retreat, and a rejection of modern society.
Thanks for reading—more soon!
The police in NZ actually stood back and declined to separate the trans thugs from the women. They were heard to say that it wasn’t their job. I don’t think the thug who punched a 70 year old woman has been charged either.
