There's a few problems with your reply here.

1. Children who are in the womb *are* in the world, quite literally. What I am opposing here is using the violence of abortion to remove them from the world.

2. Pressure to abort when babies are diagnosed with Down syndrome or other disabilities is immense and often relentless.

3. Several times, when mothers were considering abortion due to a diagnosed disability, calls were put out by the pro-life community for adoptive parents. In every instance there were *thousands* of responses. I've seen this happen myself.

I agree with your comments on awareness and the government completely.

We are all created in God’s image but sin mars that creation and we have children born with visible and invisible disabilities. It is not our right to decide who is allowed to live or die. Only God decides that. Every child is wanted somewhere by someone and all are known to God. Just because something is hard to do and stretches us we should not shy away from that and take a way out.
