Finally, today was the National March for Life in Washington, D.C. In Washington this week, the discussions amongst pro-life leaders were fixated on what the second Trump administration will do for the pro-life movement—if anything. He has made it very clear that he will veto a federal abortion ban, and that he believes most restrictions to be “too harsh.” Does the new MAGA coalition include the pro-life movement? Based on today’s turnout, it seems the answer is yes. The president (via video), the vice president, the Senate Majority Leader, the Speaker of the House, and the governor of Florida all addressed the March for Life.
