Greetings everyone,
It’s been difficult to keep up with the pace of significant culture news this year—I plan to write on the much-discussed vibe-shift soon, in addition to more book tour stops for How We Got Here: A Guide to Our Anti-Christian Culture. I am grateful for the interest shown thus far, and that readers find the book helpful.
A few columns from various publications:
At The European Conservative, I examine how J.K. Rowling, a liberal cultural elite, defeated the transgender movement. Short answer? She relentlessly ridicules them—and ridicule is the one weapon they have no defence for: “How J.K. Rowling Defeated the Transgender Movement.”
For the past year, I have been writing about what a second Trump administration might mean for the pro-life movement. Many of Trump’s pro-choice statements—and his removal of the pro-life plank from the GOP platform—have been very discouraging. But the past week has brought some cautious optimism in the movement. In WORLD Magazine: “The pro-life movement is alive.”
Almost ten years ago, David Daleiden and the undercover journalists at the Center for Medical Progress released bombshell videos detailing the horrifying traffic in baby body parts by the abortion industry. The revelations rocked America, and Daleiden was promptly prosecuted. He has spent the last 9 years facing a coordinated lawfare campaign designed to silence him. Some of his suppressed footage was leaked online. I watched hours of it: “Here are the abortion industry horrors exposed by David Daleiden.”
Here’s a good news story for your Friday—after years of overt lies, abortion activists in Latin America have failed to get judges to declare abortion a “human right” at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights”: “VICTORY: International Latin American court firmly rejects abortion as a ‘human right.’”
Two new studies were released this week in Canada, proving what the Cass Review revealed last April: That evidence for the efficacy of so-called “puberty blockers” is non-existent, and that they may do real harm: “Bombshell new Canadian studies on transgender treatments prove trans activists are lying.”
Finally, this week’s episode of The Bridgehead Briefing is on the significance of Trump’s executive order on gender ideology, which is an incredibly thorough document (I wonder if one of the Project 2025 guys wrote it). Politicians in Canada—including Pierre Poilievre, Jagmeet Singh, and Marc Miller, have all responded, so the impact is international:

Those abortion revelations are truly evil. But what do we expect when we pay people to crush and dismember human beings on an industrial scale? What kind of people are drawn to that in the first place?! And what does it do to whatever humanity they may have had to begin with?!! Truly, abortion is not compatible with a civilised society. It's just barbarism behind closed doors.
