A similar approach to soft peddling trans can be found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, wherein "unjust" discrimination against homosexuals is proscribed. A thoughtful dissection of this teaching can be found in the article "The Two Meanings of Unjust Discrimination" in "Catholic Culture"

Bottom line, our tolerance is thrown back in our face. Why single out sodomy, or even sodomy-attraction for such indulgence? Should the next CCC update invoke nondiscrimination against the "murder-attracted"? (Oh wait I forgot we already have that in the form of prochoice).

Even bottomer line, linguistic sophistication and euphemization is running rings around the Catholic Church. We must take back the rainbow, protect matrimony (means "mother making"), and insist that Mom and Dad matters.

'If this is how much they hate someone who shares most of their worldview, how much do they hate the rest of us?'

As I watched the reaction to Kathleen Stock's Oxford Union address, a curious thought occurred to me. These activists seem to believe that being a gay woman and a feminist enlists her to every liberal cause: when she opposes the demands of transgender activism she is therefore not an enemy but a traitor, not an infidel but a heretic. I suspect that they far more strongly anathemise traitors than heretics, who have Wokened to the light but chosen darkness instead.

Almost certainly they reserve less hatred for the rest of us.

Take responsibility for a wrong and dangerous course of action- covid showed us that no one wants to do that- we just pretend it away.
